In our step by step tutorial, you will learn to create your own fabric Christmas garlands using different types of tissues, from loops you have at home to special fabrics you can acquire. Step by Step to Make Christmas Guirnalds with Tela
1. Cut the Patron
Start by downloading the free pattern available in this tutorial. Print the design and recite it with scissors. This will be the guide for the pieces of fabric that will form your garland. Make sure you choose a size corresponding to your project.
2. Make the Nudos for the Hanger

4. Place the Hanger
Before sewing, place the pieces of fabric with the right sides facing (right with right). 6. Fill and Close with Invisible Seat
Use the space you left unsewed to turn the piece to the right. Make sure the seams are well defined; use a tool like a stick or pencil to push corners and curves. Thanks to the picket, the curves will be better adapted, giving a more polished finish.
Enter guata or fill your choice through open space. Add enough to make the parts firm but manageable, taking care not to override them.
Use a Invisible stitch to close the remaining opening.

- Technical: We sew a rattlesnake right in the center of the bell to simulate the uvula. This detail not only decorates, but also adds a festive sound to the Christmas garland of fabric.
⛄ Ginger Man
- Materials: embroidery thread, two small buttons, zigzag tape, decorative tie.
- Technical: We soften the eyes and mouth with the point-back technique, sew two buttons in the chest to simulate the buttons of a coat, add zigzag tape in the arms and legs as additional decoration, and end with a tie in the neck to give it a festive and fun finish.
🌟 Star
- Materials: embroidery thread, decorative link (optional).

- Materials: Decorative, rattlesnake (optional).
- Technical: We roll the cane with a loop, making sure it is firm and well distributed. If we want to add more details, we sew or stick a rattlesnake next to the loop at the top.

- Materials: Decorative blade, rattlesnake.
- Technical: We place a loop along with a small rattlesnake at the top. This simple design highlights the warmth and tenderness of the ornament.
